Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik received the Radio Krakow Award for the ICC

On march 3 the director of the International Cultural Centre received the Radio Krakow Brand Award for the exhibition “Odesa. The Long Twentieth Century in Art”. Krakow institutions that have particularly enriched the cultural and artistic landscape of the city with their initiatives were awarded during the gala in the Romana Bobrowska studio. The exhibition “Odesa. The Long Twentieth Century in Art was recognized for showing the cultural richness, diversity and turbulent history of the southern region of Ukraine. It was distinguished for presenting the influence of art on the formation of national identity and showing the laborious building of an artistic canon that interacted with the artistic currents of other European regions. The curators – Yuliia Berdiiarova, Dr. Żanna Komar and Valeriia Pliekhotko – captured the unique character of Odessa, highlighting the richness of the city's artistic life and the meanders of its history. The audience was also able to explore these during numerous accompanying events. The Radio Krakow brand is awarded by a jury of journalists and reviewers from major Krakow media. This is yet another award for the International Cultural Centre for organizing valuable artistic and cultural initiatives.
