About crime, memory and almost. Return to Lviv

2018-12-07, 6:00 p.m.
What is the genesis of "genocide", "crime against humanity" and how does it relate to pre-war Lviv? How do you write books about the Nazis when you come from a family experienced by the Holocaust? What resurrects and what erases the memory of the third generation of survivors?

We invite to a meeting with Philippe Sands, an outstanding British and French professor of international law, multiple defender of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, CNN and BBC Word Service commentator, and the author of the book "Returned to Lviv. About the genesis of genocide and crimes against humanity" which was translated into more than 20 languages.

The conversation will be led by Żanna Słoniowska

A lecture will be held in Polish
