An extraordinary book on Polish theater, "A History of Polish Theater", has been published by the prestigious Cambridge University Press. One of its editors is Bryce Lease, a scholar of the Thesaurus Poloniae program.

Dr. Bryce Lease from the Royal Holloway University (Great Britain), during a recent stay on a scholarship in Krakow, dealt with contemporary research on the culture of memory and the impact of this phenomenon on Polish theater after World War II and today.

"A History of Polish Theater" is the first English-language publishing house dealing with the history of Polish theater, the development of dramatic forms and stage aesthetics.

Thesaurus Poloniae is a three-month scholarship program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, implemented by the International Cultural Center in Krakow since 2009. The program is addressed to foreign scientists conducting research on the culture, history and multicultural heritage of the Republic of Poland and Central Europe.
