ICC Publishing House at the 12th Book Fair in Białystok

On April 25–27, the Publishing House of the International Cultural Centre will present its publications at the 12th Białystok Book Fair. Our booth will feature the latest items on art, architecture and history, as well as readers' favorite books from the ICC's regular series.

The Białystok International Book Fair is being held for the 8th time, accompanied by the Literary Festival “Na pograniczu kultur” 2025, which brings together people who love books, male and female writers and publishing houses. The purpose of the organized events is to spread literature and reading in the region, as well as to promote the work of authors associated with the Podlasie region and beyond.

The ICC Publishing House invites you to stand No. 69 in the Chorten Arena (1 Słoneczna St., Białystok) and to the ICC Bookstore website!  

Among the new publications available in our offer you can find, among others:

“Warszawskie getto. Pomiejsce” (pre-sale) – a book that grows out of the author's daily wanderings around the city on the anniversary of the 1943 uprising. He visited one place a day for 28 days, reconstructing stories that took place both in the ghetto and on the Aryan side.

“One eye laughing, the other crying” – a bilingual Polish-English album accompanying the exhibition at the ICC, is a comprehensive publication (312 pages) that is a unique guide to contemporary Romanian art.

“Why Is Romania Different?”  – a book by a prominent Romanian historian and intellectual who boldly challenges various Romanian myths and autostereotypes.

“Socmodernism. Architecture of Central Europe during the Cold War” – a fascinating and richly illustrated journey into the history of socialist modernism, which remained underestimated and marginalized for decades.
