The International Cultural Centre has received a grant under the “Accessible Culture 2025” program. Thanks to the funds, the institution will organize a series of accessible events accompanying exhibitions at the ICC's Gallery and will expand its efforts to eliminate barriers to access to art.

The Culture Accessible 2025 program provides funding for activities aimed at people with special needs. Thanks to this grant, the ICC will develop, among other things, the “Accessible Sundays at the ICC” project. This is a series aimed at a wide range of audiences, from people with various needs, to families, to culture lovers and educators. It aims to create a friendly, inclusive space where everyone can discover and experience art.

The project will include periodic events such as guided tours in Polish Sign Language (PJM) or translated into PJM, family sensory workshops, guided tours and workshops with audiodescription, guided tours in plain language, accessible walks translated into PJM and with audiodescription. Also planned is a performance that allows people to experience art through different senses and promotes empathy and reflection on the diversity of human experience. The events are to take into account the needs of people in the following areas of accessibility: seeing, hearing, understanding and feeling.
