Lecture: "Between video art and performance. Polish artists of the 1970s.

The 1970s in Poland were a time of pluralism in the artistic community and intense creative interaction with the surrounding world. It is also a period of activity of pioneers of Polish women's art - artists who refer in their works to women's social, political and professional experiences and experiment with new media and creative strategies.

The activities developed by the artists at that time were often performative in nature, and their important elements were photographs and video recordings.

Lecture related to the exhibition „Natalia LL” (9/12/1992–8/01/1993) will be dedicated to such figures of the Polish art scene of the 1970s as Ewa Partum, Jadwiga Singer and Jolanta Marcolla.
