Expert guided tour with Anna Syska, heritage conservationist from Tychy

We would like to invite you to an expert guided tour of the exhibition ‘Socmodernism. Architecture of Central Europe during the Cold War’, which will be conducted by Anna Syska, a conservationist in Tychy. She will not only focus on the buildings that were built in this city during the time of socmodernism, but will also talk about unique constructions and daring ideas, guiding the narrative through mountain projects and sports halls.

Anna Syska, historian and populariser of architecture. Author of the book ‘Spodek w Zenicie. Guide to the architecture of 1945-1989 in the Silesian Voivodeship'. She deals with the cultural heritage of the Silesian Voivodeship and western Małopolska, in particular with 20th century architecture. She works as the Municipal Conservator of Monuments in Tychy. Enthusiast of mongrels and ceramics of the Steatyt factory. She runs a popular profile on Instagram @to_tylko_architektura.
