Lecture: "From 18th-century portraits to post-war abstraction. Terra Foundation for American Art"

The Terra Foundation for American Art was founded in the late 1970s in the United States. Created by a local businessman and collector, it was intended to express the belief that art can be understood as a bold and eloquent voice about the history and identity of the American nation.

Dr. Małgorzata Jędrzejczyk will introduce listeners to the wealth of American art collected in this institution. During the meeting, he will discuss selected works from the collection representing such trends as romanticism, realism and abstraction.
