Sometimes buildings die young. Sometimes it's just because they were built during the communist period, or because, they aroused too much controversy, and some failed to prevail against time or human indifference. And it is precisely such objects that are the protagonists of the essays included in “Lost Architecture” - the ninth volume of the series “Architecture is the most important”, published by the EMG publishing house. It contains six stories about buildings and urban assumptions that no longer exist: the Krakow City Park, the Katowice train station and fair hall, the wooden buildings of Podhale, the Warsaw Supersam, the Wroclaw Solpol and the Krakow AGH canteens.

The meeting on November 14 at 6 pm at the International Cultural Center will be attended by the authors of the essays: Zbigniew Beiersdorf, Jan Łaś and Michał Wiśniewski. It will be moderated by Justyna Nowicka.

You are cordially invited!
