The Academy of Heritage is a unique, two-semester postgraduate program devoted to the management of cultural assets and the promotion of cultural heritage. Since the first recruitment in 2001, the Academy has become a prestigious educational program, which has already carried out seventeen editions and attracted over 380 students. Our staff are experts associated with the Krakow University of Economics, the Jagiellonian University and key cultural institutions in Poland.

What we offer?

As part of the studies, we offer lectures and seminars covering economic, legal, social and political issues that form the basis of a modern philosophy of heritage protection. Our students undergo comprehensive training in methods of protecting cultural heritage and managing its resources.

Practical experience:

• Field workshops at historic buildings

• Travel workshops devoted to the management of cultural institutions

• Final study tour, which is a test of acquired knowledge

The Academy of Heritage is also a series of Open Lectures, during which important examples of management of heritage objects and cultural institutions are presented.
