“Tbilisi. About Georgia, people and artworks” nominated for Fredro’s Quill Award

Lech Kończak’s book “Tbilisi. About Georgia, people and artworks”, published by the International Cultural Centre was nominated for one of the most important editorial awards. Graphic design was done by Kuba Sowiński and Wojciech Kubiena (Biuro Szeryfy), Marzena Daszewska was the managing editor, and Łukasz Galusek – the science editor.

Fredro’s Quill aims at selecting and honouring the best editions in the area of graphic design, typography and art, published each year in Poland. 30 editors submitted 75 books, out of which jury nominated 5. On November 30, the winner will be announced. The jury was composed of Anita Wincencjusz-Patyna – the chairperson, Grażyna Lange, Karolina Wiśniewska, Janusz Górski, and Andrzej Ociepa.

Last year the award was received by a trilingual book published by the ICC: „Włodzimierz Puchalski. Domowroty. Powernennia. Homing”, nominations handed out to both “Homing” and “Unwanted Capital”.
