During the last session of Europa Nostra, Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik, the ICC director, was appointed as the Europa Nostra Board member.

Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik has been a member of Europa Nostra Council since 2022. Becoming a Board member is not only a promotion for her, but also means more responsibilties and duties. The Board consists of 12 persons, who supervise strategic politics, direction, and actions of Europa Nostra. The Board members' tenure is 3 years. Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik was appointed with Stefania Pignatelli Gladstone, an Italian curator.

Europa Nostra is a pan-European federation of organisations and institutions focusing on cultural and natural heritage. It was founded on 29th November 1963 in Paris, and since then it has been promoting and protecting heritage. Europa Nostra, with its members working in over 40 countries, is recognised as the biggest and the most representative network of cultural heritage in Europe. It stays in close connections with European Union, European Council, UNESCO, and other interantional organisations.

Members of Europa Nostra create a network of dialog and debate, promote the best accomplishments in heritage, campaign against threats to heritage objects, sites and landscapes, and lobby for sustainable policy and high-quality standards regarding heritage.

Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik is also a member of the Art Historian Assocciation, the Society of Friends of Kraków History and Heritage, the International Council of Museums, and the Civic Committee for the Restoration of Cracow Heritage. She has been a member of museum boards in The Ethnographic Museum in Krakow (2021-2024), the Photography Museum in Krakow (2020-2024), and the Museum of Krakow (2021-2023). She was awarded the Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit in 2018 and the Bachelorate Cross of the Order for Merits to Lithuania in 2020.
