Europa Nostra meetings in Belgrade

Meetings marking the launch of the European Heritage Hub and the celebration of Europa Nostra’s 60th anniversary take placeIn Belgrade. As part of the programme the Belgrade Heritage Forum is planned for May, 19. It is entitled „Rethink, reuse, refuse”.

The Director of the International Cultural Centre, Agata Wąsowska Pawlik, took part in the “Re-think” session. The participants of the discussion reflected on the understanding of heritage, and the intersection between cultural heritage, SDGs, and the climate action.

The sessions organised as part of the Forum touch upon such topics as social inequalities, the reasons behind and the consequences of climate change. The meetings participants visited among others Vinča Belo Brdo Archaeological Site, the site of the Belgrade Fortress – Kalemegdan, miejsce pamięci the Old Sajmište Memorial Site and the Historic City of Bač in Vojvodina.
