The curator-led guided tour was the closing event of the exhibition “Travelling Images. Małgorzata Mirga-Tas”. Its co-curator, Dr. Wojciech Szymański, talked about the process of making the exhibition.

The titular “travelling images” worked as a starting point for the discussion of the history of individual works. The co-curator discussed the artist’s practice as well as her choice of technique, form, and composition. Dr. Szymański also traced the route the works on display had taken before they reached the International Cultural Centre Gallery in Krakow, discussing previous exhibitions where Mirga-Tas’s works were on show, their critical reception, the collections in which they were included, and the venues where they could be viewed in the future.
