Hear – see – touch! “Accessible Sunday”

During the workshops and guided tours we experienced with many senses the exhibition “Travelling images. Małgorzata Mirga-Tas”.

Schedule:

12 pm – guided tour of the exhibition interpreted simultaneously into Polish Sign Language, guides: Aleksandra Machaczka, Jakub Studziński;

 

2 pm – guided tour in Polish with audiodescription, and with the use of tactile materials, guide: Regina Mynarska.

 

For the guided tour at 2 pm, for visitors' comfort, booking was required via Evenea: https://app.evenea.pl/event/2602-14/ or the e-mail address: dostepnosc@mck.krakow.pl

Especially for this event tactile materials were prepared by: Prototyp. – Studenckie Koło Naukowe Designu UP and the students of Art and Education at the Institute of Painting and Artistic Education of Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny, tutor: dr Weronika Plińska.

We provided the help of an assistant who would come to the tram stop and help you reach the ICC. To arrange an assistant, we asked the visitors to contact us by calling or texting at: +48 784 032 228 (Daniel Krawczyk, accessibility coordinator) or by sending an e-mail to the following address: dostepnosc@mck.krakow.pl before 26 January (Thursday)

 

The assistants of people with disabilities were entitled to a free entry.

 

A ticket to the Gallery on 26 February cost 5 PLN.

 

Additional information:

  • for people with hearing disabilities we have prepared a guide in Polish Sign Language, available on tablets that can be used during the Gallery’s opening hours: 11 am – 7 pm. Please ask the Gallery staff for the tablets’ availability. After the end of the tour, please return the equipment to the Gallery service point.
  • for people with visual disabilities we have prepared an audiodescription available at the Gallery (scannable QR code) and on our website: https://mck.krakow.pl/article/177 The authors of audiodescription: Regina Mynarska, Dawid Górny. Texts read by: Martyna Masztalerz.


People with disabilities are entitled to a free entry.
