ICC Helps! Due to the Russian aggression in Ukraine, part of the funds of the scholarship program Thesaurus Poloniae, which is operated by the International Cultural Centre, was decided to help Ukrainian scientists.

Thesaurus Poloniae is a three-month scholarship program of the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sports, operated by the International Cultural Center in Cracow since the fall of 2009. The program is addressed to foreign scholars conducting research on the culture, history, and multicultural heritage of the Republic of Poland and Central Europe. However, in the face of events in Ukraine, we could not remain indifferent.

- Many of these people did not want to leave the country or their loved ones, many found shelter with relatives in other Polish cities. A total of 14 people came to Krakow, mainly from Kiev and Lviv, for whom we provided accommodation and financial means for the duration of their stay - says Michał Wiśniewski, head of the ICC Education Centre.
