The Open Eyes Economy Summit is a unique event in this part of the world - an economic and social congress with global ambitions. The sixth edition of the OEES was held in Krakow on November 16-17, 2021. The International Cultural Centre was the co-organizer of the event, and Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik, director of the International Cultural Centre, Łukasz Galusek, deputy program director, prof. Jacek Purchla and Dr. Monika Rydigier.

On November 15, Krakow Day was held as part of the OEES Prologue. Dr. Monika Rydiger, the curator of his exhibition at the ICC, will take part in the "Artist changes the city" session devoted to Daniel Karavan. During the session, there was held also a screening of the documentary "High Maintenance - the life and work of Dani Karavan", directed by Barak Heymann.

We would like to remind everyone interested in the person of the Israeli artist that the album “Dani Karavan. The essence of the place ”.

The International Cultural Centre, as an expert institution, also responsible for the selection of panellists, supervises two substantive paths: "Historical cities - what next?" and "Karpaty". On Tuesday, November 16, the lecture "Historical Urban Landscape" as part of the path "City-Idea: Historical Cities - What next" was given by prof. Jacek Purchla. Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik was the moderator of the session "Historical City - Between Disney and a Friendly Place to Live", and Łukasz Galusek was one of the panel participants during the session "Carpathians: Hidden Potential".

The distinguishing feature of the summit is its own, one-of-a-kind philosophy of Open Eyes, which speaks of the need to build a civil society, requiring responsibility also from business and administration. The participants of the congress will talk about the economy of values ​​and economic activity, in which values ​​are not only an ornament or an addition, but are the foundation and compass of business activities and consumer choices.

During the sixth edition of the OEES, topics such as: diversity management, multi-generational and multicultural organizations, streaming & gaming, historical cities, covid ecosystems, localization of management, social and environmental responsibility of business, methods of implementing innovative projects, cybersecurity and digital trust will appear during the sixth edition of the OEES.
