A+
Virtual Lessons Use your heritage! This is a chance to learn about the phenomenon of cultural heritage without leaving your home. Online lessons conducted live by educators and ICC educators are meetings that engage the group, during which we focus on active participation, creative activities and a good atmosphere. Trying to meet the interest of school groups in our program, we developed two completely new topics. Details below.

Intangible heritage

Classes concern intangible heritage. They are intended for primary school students in grades IV-VIII and secondary school students. At the beginning of the meeting, we will try to answer the question of what intangible cultural heritage actually is. We will use examples to explain what the national intangible heritage list is and what elements are on it. We will provide examples of cultural heritage - craftsmanship, language, dialect, rituals and events, such as Żywiecko-Suskie toy-making, bee-keeping, the habit of leading a bear, the Danube or Krakow bobbin lace. We will also investigate what the European regional culinary heritage network is and what its purpose is.

Fun & folk - customs and traditions

Classes focus on folklore and folk culture as part of our cultural heritage. They are intended for primary school students in grades IV-VIII and secondary school students. The topic of the lesson will be folk dialects, beliefs, dances, cuisine, crafts, architecture and art. We will talk about the characteristic elements of folk costumes, we will show the differences between dialect and dialect, we will present the most characteristic dishes of various regions, from Krakow obwarzanek to haluszki and pyry z gzikiem. We will introduce you to what such beautiful handicraft products as peacocks and spiders are, and we will delve into folk tales and legends about meridians and cloud clouds. Participants will also get to know important figures for the commemoration of folk culture, i.e. Oskar Kolberg and Antonina Konopczanka. Together with the participants, we will consider whether folklore is a cause for shame and what can be done to commemorate and spread folk traditions. What actions are taken in this matter by state institutions and how are the music of the band Tulia, shows of great fashion designers or the influencer Roobens related to it.
