Agreement between the ICC and the Academy of Fine Arts

We signed an agreement on popularizing and supporting art and cultural heritage
Together with the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, we want to popularize and support art and cultural heritage and cooperate on many scientific and artistic levels.

Today, the agreement on this matter was signed by: Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk and the Director of the ICC Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik.

The Academy of Fine Arts has been drawing on European influences for over 200 years, and at the same time sets new trends in art. From the very beginning, the International Cultural Centre has been subjecting the concept of cultural heritage to critical and multilateral reflection through an interdisciplinary instrumentation. Its activities relate to the history of art and architecture, as well as to history, the phenomenon of memory, protection of cultural heritage and all aspects related to its management.

We believe that thanks to the signed agreement we will find many levels of cooperation, promoting the treasures of cultural heritage and the latest artistic achievements.
