Successive scholarship holders of the 24th edition of Thesaurus Poloniae scholarship program began their stay in Krakow - Taras Lavruk from Ukraine and Bryce Lease from Great Britain.

Dr. Taras Lawruk - a graduate of the Przykarpacki National University. Wasyla Stefanyk, (Ukraine). The aim of his project is to conduct ethnological and anthropological research devoted to the population of the Eastern Carpathians and to prepare a work on the history of research on this subject, which was carried out in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Dr. Taras Lawruk was a guest of the Catch Distance series accompanying the Ukraine exhibition. Mutual gaze. Record of the meeting HERE.

Dr. Bryce Lease from Royal Holloway University (UK). His project is devoted to contemporary research on the culture of memory and the impact of this phenomenon on Polish theater after the Second World War and today.
Thesaurus Poloniae is a three-month scholarship program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, implemented by the International Cultural Center in Krakow since 2009. The program is addressed to foreign scientists conducting research on the culture, history and multicultural heritage of the Republic of Poland and Central Europe. The program is open to researchers involved in the management and protection of cultural heritage, as well as theoretical research in the field of history, sociology, ethnography, anthropology, etc.

Thesaurus Poloniae is implemented in two categories: the Senior Program for PhD professors and academic lecturers and the Junior Program for PhD students.
