The ICC representatives at the City History Museum and Research Network meeting in Barcelona

On March 7–10 this year Łukasz Galusek, the ICC Deputy Director for Programme Policy, and Michał Wiśniewski, head of the ICC’s Academy of Heritage Education Centre, will take part in the forthcoming session of the City History Museum and Research Network, organised by the MUHBA Museum of the History of Barcelona.

The Network, which brings together over twenty leading city museums and research institutes focused on the history of cities from all across Europe, was founded in 2010. The ICC has been its permanent collaborator. Thanks to this cooperation, since 2013 a series of lectures on interesting European museum institutions was organised in Krakow, covering cities such as Barcelona, Amsterdam, Liverpool, Copenhagen, and Frankfurt am Main. Collaboration within the network offers insight into the current trends and issues addressed by leading narrative and historical museums. The Network meetings are organised every one and a half year in Barcelona.
