In Lviv, Polish, Ukrainian and Jewish memories are interlacd inseparably, making the city’s literary image an interesting research field. Katarzyna Kotyńska and Jagoda Wierzejska will talk about how the city has been presented in literature and enmeshed in a variety of narrations.

Dr Katarzyna Kotyńska – professor at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, translator of Ukrainian literature.

Jagoda Wierzejska – literary historian and critic, assistant professor in the Department of 20th- and 21st-Century Literature of the Faculty of Polish Studies at Warsaw University.
