The grant under the FEnIKS programme – European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment 2021–2027 – is earmarked for the comprehensive modernisation of the ICC headquarters at 25 Main Market Square. The primary aim of the project is to create a new space for culture and community activities, which will occupy the entire ground floor of the ICC and serve as a kind of invitation to the institution and its showcase. A bookshop, a café and educational rooms will be established there. Plans also include the modernisation of selected spaces and technical installations, the purchase of modern equipment, the removal of architectural barriers, and training initiatives to enhance the team’s skills in serving visitors with special needs.
