Pupils from Hoheluft Secondary School in Hamburg visit the ICC

On 3 June, a group from Hoheluft Secondary School in Hamburg visited the ICC to learn about our work and projects and to explore the topic of Polish-German relations.

The visit by the secondary school pupils from Hamburg to the ICC is part of a longer educational trip aimed at deepening their knowledge of German-Polish relations and understanding the related political and social aspects, as well as their historical context.

Anna Śliwa from the ICC Exhibition Department and Dr Michał Wiśniewski from the ICC Educational Department – Heritage Academy met with the guests from Hamburg and gave them a guided tour of our premises. They told them not only about the ICC’s most important exhibitions, educational projects and publications, but also about current political developments in German-Polish relations. They also introduced the visitors to the concept of the culture of remembrance and its significance and discussed prospects for further cooperation.
