Dr. Uwe Koch from the Europa Nostra Council visits the ICC

On January 30, 2026, Dr. Uwe Koch, a member of the Europa Nostra Council, visited the ICC. His visit was an opportunity to discuss the functioning of the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub in Krakow and plans to launch a similar initiative in Potsdam. The topic of cooperation between European institutions and non-governmental organizations within the European Heritage Hub project was also raised.

The meeting with Dr. Uwe Koch from Potsdam was attended by Director Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik, Prof. Jacek Purchla, Dr. Katarzyna Jagodzińska (Head of the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub for Central and Eastern Europe), and Rev. Dariusz Raś (President of The Society of Friends of Kraków History and Heritage). The main purpose of the German guest's visit was to learn about the experience of running the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub for Central and Eastern Europe in Krakow at TMHiZK. Dr. Uwe Koch and the NGO community in Potsdam are working on launching a similar project in Potsdam.

The talks also focused on cooperation in mapping non-governmental organizations active in the field of cultural heritage in Europe as part of the European Heritage Hub project, in which the ICC and TMHiZK are involved.
