The International Cultural Centre in Krakow is consistently building an open, friendly, and accessible space for everyone, regardless of individual needs. We treat accessibility as an important part of our mission, and our initiatives are effectively increasing access to the historic headquarters of the ICC and to our cultural offerings for a diverse range of audiences.

In 2025 we joined the Agreement for the Accessibility of Krakow's Cultural Institutions, collaborating with other entities to jointly develop the idea of an open, inclusive and accessible culture for all.

The exhibitions presented at the ICC are designed with the diverse needs of our guests in mind. The amenities we have introduced have been very well received by both visitors and experts who deal with accessibility on a daily basis. A special event was the first exhibition in the history of the ICC that was fully accessible to people with visual impairments – “Touch of art – laboratory of form” presenting original graphics by Prof. Agnieszka Łakoma.

This year's edition of the “Accessible Sunday” series was full of events that attracted a lot of interest and were very well received by participants. We ensured that the program was of a high standard in terms of content and organization and that it responded to the diverse needs of our audience.

We tried to ensure accessibility in all areas: mobility, comprehension, hearing, vision, and sensory experiences. The program included guided tours and city walks, sensory workshops, and—for the first time at the ICC—a theater performance.

The “Accessible Sunday” series was funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund, a state-run special-purpose fund.

We are convinced that accessibility at the ICC is not just an empty slogan, but a real action – because culture is for everyone!
