The International Cultural Centre in Krakow cordially invites you to a press conference on the launch of the project “Modernization and adaptation of the ground floor of the Ravens House and renovation of the technical infrastructure of the ICC headquarters in Krakow”. We will talk about how the space of our institution will change and what projects we will implement to make the ICC an even more interesting and open place for our visitors.

December 10, 2025, 11.00–12.00

The project, co-financed by the European Union under the FEnIKS program – European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021–2027, aims to modernize the historic headquarters of the ICC at 25 Main Square. Thanks to this, our institution will become a modern, inclusive space for culture – with a bookstore, café, educational room, and a new level of accessibility.

During the event, we will present the details of the investment, the schedule of works, the planned effects, as well as activities that will increase the accessibility and quality of the cultural offer at our institution. We will also present the ICC's plans for 2026. After the conference, we invite you to refreshments and individual conversations with representatives of the ICC.

How will the ICC change thanks to the FEnIKS program?

The renovation of the ICC headquarters, including the Ravens Hall, will make our institution even more friendly, modern, and accessible to a wide range of audiences. FEnIKS will not only allow for the renovation of the Ravens Hall conference room, foyer, and elevator lobby. The reconstruction of the ground floor of the building will provide us with new spaces for cultural activities—organizing workshops, meetings, classes, and film screenings. The ICC will be enriched with a bookstore, café, and new educational rooms.

FEnIKS will also enable the renovation of the gallery rooms, including the modernization of the heating, electrical, ventilation, lighting, and sound systems. This will improve the conditions in which our exhibitions are presented and allow for their modern arrangement. The modernized ventilation and lighting system will be suitable for works of art and will replace outdated solutions. Plans include replacing the lighting with denser lighting, installing modern lamps and AV systems, as well as a ticket reservation system.
