We invite you to a meeting as part of the “Point of View: Architecture” series. At the MCK, we will talk about the architectural heritage of Krakow, including such famous places as Wawel, Hotel Forum and the PKO Building. Dr Michał Wiśniewski, Julia Dragović and Marek Świdrak will take part in the discussion.

The All In UJ Association, in cooperation with the ICC, invites you to a meeting entitled “Point of View: Krakow's Architectural Heritage”. Experts will discuss massively visited sites such as Wawel Castle and the Main Market Square, as well as famous Krakow hotels – Cracovia and Forum – and the controversies surrounding them. They will also refer to the fate of buildings designed by outstanding architects, such as the PKO Building by Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz or the villa of Wojciech Pietrzyk. During the meeting, we will also discuss issues related to monument protection law, the roles of monument conservators and urban movements. The meeting will encourage discussion about urban space and the challenges associated with its protection.

The discussion will be attended by Julia Dragović, journalist and architectural photographer, as well as Dr Michał Wiśniewski and Marek Świdrak from the Education Centre – Academy of Heritage of the International Cultural Centre. The meeting will be moderated by members of the ALL In UJ association. It will be part of the “Point of View: Architecture” series. This event creates a space for discussion for specialists involved in architecture, but who view it from different perspectives and come from different specialisations and professions. It is intended to be an inspiration and an invitation to discussion for city residents and anyone else interested in the subject. The series is guided by the idea: One topic, different points of view.
