MCK Library Joins the Bibliotheca Baltica Association

We are pleased to announce that the Library of the International Cultural Centre has been accepted as a member of the Bibliotheca Baltica Association – a prestigious network of European libraries operating in the Baltic Sea region. This organization brings together institutions of special significance for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage while also supporting the exchange of information and cooperation between libraries across the region.

Bibliotheca Baltica recognizes the transformative role of libraries as a driving force for regional cooperation, knowledge exchange, and cultural understanding. The association organizes numerous events, such as symposia and meetings, which serve as platforms for librarians to share their knowledge, experiences, and strategies related to the protection of the common cultural heritage of Baltic countries.

Becoming a member of Bibliotheca Baltica opens new opportunities for our library in terms of international collaboration and participation in projects related to the preservation and promotion of Central and Baltic European heritage. This is an important step in the continued development of the MCK Library as a center of knowledge and research on European culture.
