The exhibition featured works by Deborah Cornell \u2014 an American artist and Head of the Printmaking Department at a university in Boston.<\/strong> The works by Deborah Cornell presented at the exhibition in Krak\u00f3w offered a broad perspective on the transformations occurring in the natural world, with particular emphasis on phenomena such as flooding.<\/strong> The works on display were created specifically for the Krak\u00f3w exhibition.<\/strong> The exhibition was prepared in collaboration with the International Print Triennial Society in Krak\u00f3w.<\/strong>
Her multilayered works, both in content and form, incorporated superimposed satellite images of the Earth, recordings of solar flares captured by NASA, phases of the Moon, and archaeological materials. These compositions prompted reflection on how technological progress shapes our perception of reality \u2014 and on the condition of the world in the face of ongoing environmental change.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
They highlighted both the slow, almost imperceptible changes in the environment and the destructive force of sudden natural disasters \u2014 and their impact on culture and everyday human life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The interdisciplinary nature of the presentation was enriched not only by the prints themselves but also by computer animations and an immersive installation titled Eclipse \/ Phase<\/em>, created by Deborah Cornell in collaboration with her husband, composer Richard Cornell. The installation combined a mural, video projection, and a soundscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
