Join us on a walk that will introduce you to the most important buildings, streets, institutions and people associated with the Galician era in Krak\u00f3w. We\u2019ll also take a look at the everyday life of Krak\u00f3w\u2019s residents of yesteryear, follow in the footsteps of the artistic bohemian scene of that period, and find out exactly what the Galician Ring of Krak\u00f3w was.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>8 August 2026, 11.00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, Krak\u00f3w was a city undergoing dynamic change \u2013 imposing buildings were being erected, scientific and cultural institutions were flourishing, and the urban landscape was becoming increasingly modern. Traces of this era can be found in many parts of the Old Town \u2013 from the headquarters of universities and scientific societies, through theatres and art palaces, to the meeting places of Krak\u00f3w\u2019s bohemian scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join us on a walk along the \u201cGalician Ring of Krak\u00f3w\u201d, during which we\u2019ll discover the most important sites associated with the Galician era and learn the stories of the people who shaped the city\u2019s character. The route takes in stately buildings, historic streets and places linked to science, culture and the everyday life of Krak\u00f3w\u2019s residents of yesteryear.
