Dr. Micha\u0142 Wi\u015bniewski will discuss its history, the artists involved in its creation and its extraordinary interiors.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today\u2019s House Under the Globe, originally the seat of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, was built in 1906 as part of the transformations that shaped the modern face of Krak\u00f3w. This unique building was designed by Franciszek M\u0105czy\u0144ski and Tadeusz Stryje\u0144ski, architects who at the time had experience collaborating on projects, including Krak\u00f3w\u2019s Palace of Art. Although Stanis\u0142aw Wyspia\u0144ski was originally supposed to work on the interior design, the task was ultimately entrusted to J\u00f3zef Mehoffer. The decorative interiors, together with the fa\u00e7ade, form a complete Art Nouveau masterpiece, created through the collaboration of outstanding artists and craftsmen such as J\u00f3zef Mehoffer, Konstanty Laszczka, W\u0142adys\u0142aw Ekielski and Antoni Tuch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the walk, led by Dr. Micha\u0142 Wi\u015bniewski, we will examine, among other things, the richly decorated Mehoffer Hall, the wood paneling and polychromes complemented by original furniture and lighting, and we will also discuss the sculptural decorations, metalwork and stained glass visible from the outside.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Event as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/mck.krakow.pl\/artykul\/spaceruj-z-nami-i-odkryj-nie-znane-dziedzictwo-miasta\">Walk with Us<\/a> series<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical information:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Free admission,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/app.evenea.pl\/event\/spacer2606\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">registration via the Evenea website<\/a> is required.
