We\u2019ll also try to answer the question of how the evolution of urban space reflected the needs of Krak\u00f3w\u2019s residents at the time.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We invite you to join us on a walk dedicated to the development of modern Krak\u00f3w\u2014we\u2019ll take a look at what has changed in the city and what has remained unchanged over the years. We\u2019ll also try to answer the question of how the evolution of urban space reflected the needs of Krak\u00f3w\u2019s residents at the time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>April 25, 2026, 11.00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the walk, we\u2019ll travel back to interwar Krak\u00f3w, when the city began to develop rapidly after regaining independence. We\u2019ll examine how its urban landscape and residents\u2019 living conditions changed over the course of a dozen or so years, and what these transformations revealed about the ambitions of the young nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will discuss the directions of urban and architectural development: what was built and for what purpose, and what social needs drove the new projects. We will learn about the most important architects of this period and highlight the distinctive features of their designs. We will see how the built environment has changed and which elements of Krak\u00f3w\u2019s past have remained unchanged.
