Its programme is aimed at people with and without disabilities, older and younger people, those with and without children, regular participants in cultural life, as well as those who rarely attend such events.

Now in its fourteenth year, the event is held under the slogan “You can do it this way. And you can do it that way too”, reflecting the fact that there is no single “correct” way to experience culture. You can watch, listen, read, communicate in PJM (Polish Sign Language), follow the visuals or follow the sound. Every way is valid, as long as it is your own. The festival is organised by experts specialising in event accessibility, people with disabilities, accessibility coordinators at cultural institutions and volunteers trained to assist audience members with special needs.

Most events during the festival are free or tickets are available at a special festival price. Bookings open on 1 October at 12.00.

Collaboration between the ICC and the Culture Without Barriers Festival

This is the third time the ICC has taken part in the Culture Without Barriers Festival.
