{"id":32402,"date":"2026-06-29T14:23:59","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T14:23:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mck.krakow.pl\/stanowisko-wolontariuszka-ds-digitalizacji\/"},"modified":"2026-06-29T14:36:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T14:36:15","slug":"stanowisko-wolontariuszka-ds-digitalizacji","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mck.krakow.pl\/en\/stanowisko-wolontariuszka-ds-digitalizacji\/","title":{"rendered":"Position: Digitisation Volunteer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Position: Digitisation Volunteer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The duties of the person in this role will include:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 digitising photographic materials (photographs) held in the ICC Archive,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 ensuring the quality of the scans produced,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 working closely with the ICC team to gather and verify information,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 describing files in accordance with archival regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualities of the ideal candidate:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 ability to operate scanning equipment,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 knowledge of image editing software is an advantage,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 conscientiousness, reliability and attention to detail,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 secondary education; students of humanities (history, art history, cultural studies, graphic design, etc.) are preferred,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 ability to work under time pressure and good work organisation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 ability to maintain confidentiality,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 knowledge of regulations concerning document archiving and data protection would be an advantage,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 knowledge of English at A2 level would be an advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical information:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 we offer the opportunity to work on-site at the ICC office in Krak\u00f3w, on working days from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 preference is given to candidates available for a minimum of 10 hours per week, totalling at least 60 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Anyone who decides to work with the ICC will gain:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 the opportunity to gain professional experience at a prestigious cultural institution,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 the necessary tools for the job,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 a workplace in an office on Krak\u00f3w\u2019s Main Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Please send your CV to: <a href=\"mailto:rekrutacja@mck.krakow.pl\">rekrutacja@mck.krakow.pl<\/a> by 10 July 2026.
