The session was accompanied by a short guided tour of our institution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During their visit to the ICC, the Jagiellonian University Cultural Diplomacy students learnt, amongst other things, how to prepare an application for public funding for cultural activities, how to describe a project\u2019s concept, and how to account for it. They also honed their practical skills in securing sponsors for their activities and learnt how to seek out various sources of funding for culture-related projects. Drawing on the experiences and examples of the ICC\u2019s activities, Director Agata W\u0105sowska Pawlik introduced them to methods of implementing various types of cultural initiatives and the challenges involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The postgraduate programme in Cultural Diplomacy at the Jagiellonian University is the only one of its kind in Poland. It is run in collaboration with key diplomatic missions and cultural institutions, including the Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Commission Representation in Poland, the Robert Schuman Foundation and the International Cultural Centre in Krak\u00f3w. Agata W\u0105sowska-Pawlik is one of the lecturers on this prestigious course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
