{"id":26083,"date":"2026-03-17T10:18:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T10:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mck.krakow.pl\/?p=26083"},"modified":"2026-10-19T10:10:47","modified_gmt":"2026-10-19T10:10:47","slug":"european-heritage-hub-steering-committee-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mck.krakow.pl\/en\/european-heritage-hub-steering-committee-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"European Heritage Hub Steering Committee Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by representatives of the project\u2019s partner institutions and organisations from various European countries, including entities active in the fields of cultural heritage, digitisation, urban development and sustainable development \u2013 from\u00a0<strong>Armenia, Belgium, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Ukraine and Serbia<\/strong>. Poland was represented by Dr Katarzyna Jagodzi\u0144ska, Dr Joanna Sanetra-Szeliga and Agata W\u0105sowska-Pawlik, Director of the International Cultural Centre (MCK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, current activities undertaken within the European Heritage Hub at both pan-European and local levels were discussed. The participants devoted considerable attention to the current geopolitical situation, armed conflicts and tensions, which also affect the heritage sector. The European Cultural Heritage Summit 2026, to be held from 26 to 30 May in Cyprus, will provide an opportunity to express solidarity and discuss the role of heritage as a catalyst for change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its work with the European Heritage Hub, the MCK is continuing its research into the heritage NGO sector in countries across Northern and Western Europe (Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland), and the second part of the report will be published in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Heritage Hub is funded by the European Union and implemented by an international consortium of 28 partners led by Europa Nostra.
