European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centres (ENCATC)<\/div>\n\n
Encatc (once: European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centres) is the European network on cultural management and policy, empowering cultural educators, researchers, policy makers and professionals to connect, learn, and drive innovation for a more resilient and financially sustainable cultural sector. The ICC is the network member since January 1993.<\/div>\n\n \n

AHICE (Art and Heritage in Central Europe)<\/div>\n\n
The Art and Heritage in Central Europe service, initially called \u201cArt History Information in Central Europe\u201d, was established in 2004 by Dr Zolt\u00e1n Gyal\u00f3kay to provide access to information on events such as exhibitions, publications, conferences and more in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. Currently it is run by Dr Magdalena \u0141anuszka within the service HERITO, providing information on exhibitions and conferences in Central Europe (from Baltic countries to Mediterranean region), with particular focus on V4 countries.<\/div>\n\n \n

CAE \u2013 Culture Action Europe<\/div>\n\n
Culture Action Europe (CAE) is the major European network of cultural networks, organisations, artists, activists, academics and policymakers. As the only intersectoral network it brings together members and strategic partners from all areas of culture. Culture Action Europe is the political voice of the cultural sector in Europe, the first port of call for informed opinion and debate about arts and cultural policy.\r\n\r\nCulture Action Europe maintains an ongoing dialogue and knowledge sharing between the European cultural sector and policymakers. CAE advocates for transformative cultural policies that recognise and support culture as a sector in its own right and a catalyst contributing to other sectors.\r\n<\/div>\n\n \n

Europa Nostra<\/div>\n\n
Europa Nostra is a pan-European federation of organisations and institutions in the field of cultural and environmental heritage preservation. It represents at the European level some 260 non-governmental organisations, 150 associate organisations and 1700 individual members from more than 50 countries. Together, they provide a network for dialogue and debate, celebrate the best heritage achievements; campaign against threats to vulnerable heritage buildings, sites and landscapes, and lobby for sustainable policies and high quality standards with regard to heritage. <\/br> <\/br>\r\nThe International Cultural Centre has been an associate member of the Europa Nostra almost since its inception. As long ago as in May 1995, the ICC hosted the first Europa Nostra congress to be held in the CEE region. Prof. Jacek Purchla, the ICC\u2019s founder and long-serving director, is the vice-president of Europa Nostra as well as the chairman of the international jury of the European Heritage Awards \/ Europa Nostra Awards, and the ICC director Agata W\u0105sowska-Pawlik is a member of the Europa Nostra Council. A milestone in our cooperation was the project Culture Heritage Counts for Europe<\/a> implemented over the years 2013\u20132015 and culminating in the publication of a report summarising the role and influence of cultural heritage on socio-economic development, culture, and the environment.\r\n<\/div>\n\n \n

RIHA \u2013 International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art<\/div>\n\n
We are one of over 30 institutions creating the International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art, founded 1998 in Paris. The purpose of RIHA is to promote education and research in art history and related disciplines, and to intensify cooperation between the institutes. The association publishes the renowned \u2018RIHA Journal\u2019, the local editorial office of which is based at the ICC.\r\n<\/div>\n\n \n
