The conference is to remind the timeless dimension of his work, its deep connection with the cultural landscape of the Carpathians and Central Europe and the humanistic idea of dialogue between cultures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"entry_text_lg wp-block-paragraph\">Stanis\u0142aw Vincenz, an outstanding essayist, occupies a special place in Polish literature and plays a special role in building European identity. Raised on the borderland of regions, languages and cultural and historical groups, rooted in the Mediterranean tradition and open to dialogue, he became the voice of Central Europe and the pattern of writing of small homelands. His biography is a reflection of the turbulent fate of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"entry_text_lg wp-block-paragraph\">Stanis\u0142aw Vincenz \u2013 ethnographer and essayist, scholar of culture, philosopher, novelist and translator. He was born on 30 November 1888 in S\u0142oboda Rungurska in Galicia (now in Ukraine) and died on 28 January 1971 in Lausanne. A major figure in Polish intellectual history, he was recognised by the Council of Europe as one of the distinguished precursors of European integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"entry_text_lg wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"entry_text_lg wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"entry_text_lg wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
