"Use heritage"! Lessons about cultural heritage for school groups

We invite primary and secondary school students for lessons on cultural heritage. The classes provide participants with practical knowledge on how to use heritage. In addition to a solid dose of knowledge, they also develop key skills and competences: learning, taking initiatives, entrepreneurship, and cultural awareness and expression.

Use heritage, meaning?

Heritage surrounds us from all sides, so you should familiarize yourself with its aspects from an early age. There is a need to educate young people that heritage is an investment through which individual benefits can be achieved.

We've prepared ten lesson topics about heritage. As part of one lesson, please select one topic. We suggest starting the "adventure" with heritage from the lessons Heritage from scratch.

Choosing a heritage lesson in a few steps:

please select a topic or propose yours
classes run from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 16.00
registration is available by e-mail: warsztaty@mck.krakow.pl 
the cost of classes is 10 PLN per participant
the duration is 2 hours

Classes are held for groups of up to 25 people, in the case of more people the group will be divided.

Please be advised that during classes, workshops, meetings, gallery lessons, lectures photos may be taken for the needs of the International Cultural Center in Krakow (including for documentation and information on the ICC website and on the ICC profiles on Facebook and Instagram ). If you do not agree, please inform us in advance. Photos may contain images of people taking part in the classes and images of work done during the classes. Lack of information provided in writing to the Exhibition Center before the start of the classes is tantamount to consent to the use of the photos referred to above by the International Cultural Center in Krakow.
