Meeting with Krzysztof Czyżewski

As part of the series of virtual meetings At a distance, the International Cultural Centre invited you on Friday, June 5, 2020, at 19.00 for a live conversation with Krzysztof Czyżewski, practitioner of ideas, writer, translator, editor, director, author of the book Towards Xenopolis published in January by the ICC Publishing House (as the 14th volume of the Library of Central Europe series edited by Prof. Jacek Purchla). The conversation on the ICC Facebook profile was be led by Łukasz Galusek.

This is the most extensive selection of Krzysztof Czyżewski's essay. He places Central Europe, which - as Peter Handke wanted - of purely meteorological significance for him - in the middle of the questions and problems that are most important for the modern world: the crisis of community, deepening divisions and increasingly sharp cultural wars.
