In the heart of Krakow #6

Was the Grey House named Grey after its colour? When did elevators appear in Krakow? Where did 19th-century ladies buy tea and raisins?

The history of the house located at the exit of Sienna Street is not only a story about the architecture and art of Young Poland, although some of its interiors were designed by Józef Mehoffer himself. First of all, it is the story of the emancipation of the Jewish community not only in Krakow, but throughout Central Europe, shown on the example of one Krakow family.
