An exhibition with class! Gallery lessons for school groups
A-
A+

The International Cultural Centre invites pre-schoolers, primary and secondary school students to special gallery lessons. We adjust all classes to the needs of particular age groups and the teacher's suggestions. We conduct lessons in Polish, English, French and Ukrainian.

The subject matter of the educational activities corresponds to the core curriculum, taking into account the changes related to the current reform of the education system, as well as supplementing and extending the information it contains. We adapt the classes to the age of the participants.

What is a gallery lesson?

The gallery lesson consists of two parts:

• active guided tour of the exhibition, during which the participants work together to understand the content and contexts of the exhibition;

• creative activities, which include solving an educational path or task cards, group work or art workshops.

Can I take my students to the ICC gallery class?

From January on the lessons take place on the “Travelling Images. Małgorzata Mirga-Tas” exhibition.

How to book a gallery lesson?

Please contact us by e-mail (warsztaty@mck.krakow.pl) at least one week before the planned classes. We organise gallery lessons only when there is an exhibition on show. Classes are held from Monday to Friday and last from 60 to 90 minutes.

Gallery lessons take place in the exhibition space of the ICC Gallery, as well as in the education room. They can be completed with art classes (for younger children). Lessons are held for groups of up to 25 students, if there are more students, the group will be divided.

The cost of a gallery lesson is PLN 5 per participant.

We honour the Large Family Card (KDR) and the Krakow Family 3+ Card (KKR 3+). Each participant of a group with KDR or KKR 3+ will pay 50% less for participation in guided tour and educational activities.
