Culture Action Europe (former EFAH)

Culture Action Europe is a European advocacy and lobby network promoting the role of culture in the European Union. Its main goal is to influence European policies for more and better access to culture across the continent. It provides customized information and analysis of cultural policies, promotes exchange of information and opinions (to create common positions at the European level), organizes meetings and conferences, represents cultural sector at the European level.

At the moment the CAC is conducting an advocacy campaign We are more, which through the mobilization of the largest possible number of cultural operators aims at contributing to strengthening the recognition of the role of arts and culture in the development of our European societies. It will use the upcoming EU political and financial negotiations for the period 2014-2020 as a timely opportunity to develop and sharpen the arguments used when advocating for arts and culture (more funds for culture in the Culture Programme and European Structural Funds).
