Meeting: The Urban Ground of Culture. Poland and Romania

Cities are not only spaces of everyday life, but also carriers of history, identity and culture. How do urbanization, spatial policy and architectural heritage shape the urban landscape in Poland and Romania? How do historical memory and contemporary modernization processes influence the development of cities in both countries?
The graphic is divided into two parts. On the left side, there is a black background with white, dynamically distorted text: Art is more valuable than gold. About collecting.Below, event details are provided – a debate featuring Ovidiu Șandor, on March 8 at 5:00 PM at MCK, Rynek Główny 25. In the bottom right corner, there is a small geometric illustration. On the right side, there is a photograph of a man wearing a white shirt with black stripes and glasses. He holds a colorful, segmented object resembling a baton in his hand, and one of his hands is wearing a white glove. The background of the photo features a wall covered in drawings and sketches.

Debate: Art more precious than gold. On collecting

What is art collecting – an act of private passion or a form of interpretation of history and the present? Can a collection tell a story of identity and social change? What role does the collector play in shaping the narrative about art?
