Meetings

The exhibition “Lithuania. Two centuries of photography” is accompanied by a series of meetings, during which we will bring the Lithuanian culture closer to our visitors. We have invited specialists in photography, art and literary critics to participate.

In June we have invited you to two special events:

- on June 16, at 4 pm a curatorial guided tour of the exhibition “Lithuania. Two centuries of photography” took place, it was led by Adam Mazur and Natalia Żak;

- on June 16, at 6 pm Adam Mazur talked about the Lithuanian photography with Alvydas Lukys, Valentyn Odnoviun, Vilma Samulionytė, Gintautas Trimakas.

In September a meeting about the book “Vilnius. 20th-21st centuries. Architectural Guide” took place:
- on September 14, at 6 pm dr Michał Wiśniewski talked with dr Rasa Antanavičiūtė, Anna Syska, and prof. Andrzej Szczerski.

In October, during the final days of the exhibition we will reflect on the phonomenon of Adam Mickiewicz’s, Czesław Miłosz’s, Maria Rodziewiczówna’s and Eliza Orzeszkowa’s work:

- on October 16, at 6 pm Paulina Małochleb will talk about the borderline literature and its new readings with dr. Artur Madaliński, dr Viktorija Šeina, and Emilia Padoł.
