A guide in Polish Sign Language

You can use the guide on your own device or on a tablet that you can borrow for free at the ICC Gallery.

It comprises of eight videos and lasts about 30 minutes. The first recording is the introduction to the exhibition. The remaining seven are the descriptions of the thematic rooms and selected pieces.

Stationary induction loops

In the building of the International Cultural Centre there are stationary induction loops.

The loops are located at the reception desk on the ground floor and in the Gallery on the first floor, where there is also a visitor service point and a bookstore. In “The Ravens” Hall there is a surface-mounted induction loop, which can be used by people with hearing aids or cochlear implants (you just need to select the “T” induction programme on the device)

FM system

In the Gallery, during guided tours, you can use an FM system with induction loop. In case you would be interested, please let us know earlier via e-mail or phone:

A remote interpreter of the Polish Sign Language

At the International Cultural Centre the service operates in the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 5:00 p.m.,

Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The service is free of charge.

The interpreter can assist in contacting with the ICC staff and  getting the answers to questions about the activities of the institution (e.g. ticket prices, current events).

You can use the service:

  • via our website (with the use of any device equipped with a camera). Just click on the hands icon in the right side of the screen. You will be automatically redirected to the appropriate Migam subpage. A green circle will appear in the centre of the screen with the symbol of hands and the words "Connect to interpreter". Clicking on the symbol makes a video call. A system request for permission to share the camera image may appear on the screen – please give your consent and turn on the camera. Should all interpreters be busy, please wait a moment for the connection;
  • at the ICC reception desk (ground floor) or at the Gallery ticket office (first floor). Inform the staff that you want to use the interpreter service; our staff member will connect with the interpreter via a special tablet.

The service was financed by the grant “Culture without Barriers”.
