Management of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Visegrad Countries

Application and enrolment process is now open! The international course is addressed to the staff of conservation and preservation services as well as institutions of culture and non-governmental institutions involved in the protection of heritage. The course’s primary objective is to exchange experiences and good practices in the field of management and preservation of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. So far three editions of the course focusing on the issues of UNESCO sites management have been organised in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This year’s edition will be exclusively devoted to the UNESCO World Heritage sites located in Hungary, while preservation of cultural landscape will be the course’s major theme. The course which comprises of study tours and meetings with experts and managers of cultural heritage sites will take place from July 9 to July 16. The classes have been planned to take place in both Poland and Hungary.
