Santa Claus at the ICC

2011-12-03
December 3, 11.30 a.m., 1.30 p.m., 3.30 p.m.
Did you know that the Christmas tree originated in Germany?
Art workshops will focus on the Christmas traditions in Germany and will create an opportunity to learn about the origin of the Christmas tree – from a cypress twig, through a sheaf of hay and fir wreaths, to traditional Christmas trees. Moreover, the children will find out about the Christmas symbols and discover their meanings. They will also learn the difference between German and Polish Christmas traditions. Finally, a big Christmas tree with avant-garde decorations will be created – all in the framework of an adventure role play taking place at the ICC premises.

Workshops aimed at children aged between 6 and 10 years.
