Recruitment to the tenth edition of the V4 Heritage Academy program

We invite you to take part in the tenth edition of the V4 Heritage Academy program: Management of UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Sites in Visegrad Countries 2019, which will be held on July 8-14, 2019. The theme will be the management of places inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on the example of Český Krumlov.

International summer training programme is addressed to the staff of conservation and preservation services as well as institutions of culture and non-governmental institutions involved in the protection of heritage. Its primary objective is to exchange experiences and good practices in the field of management and preservation of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. So far, nine editions of the course focusing on the issues of UNESCO sites management have been organised in the Czech Republic, Poland, the Slovak Republic and Hungary.

The course is run by the ICC within the framework provided by the Panel of Experts on Cultural Heritage – representatives of the ministries of culture of the Visegrad countries. The permanent partners of the project are: the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic, as well as the World Heritage Affairs Unit of the Prime Minister's Office of Hungary.
